Metamorphoses based on Ovid's journey of the same name juxtaposes the ancient and the contemporary in both language and image to reflect the variety and persistence of mortals and gods in the face of inevitable change. The bonds of love, the tempting of fate and the consequences of action and inaction are the path of this mythical play.
