Plain Language Description
EXPOSED is a raw and honest storytelling show featuring true personal stories told in different dramatic styles. Created by Josie Nixon, it focuses on empathy, community, and healing through shared experiences. Each night opens with rotating stories, followed by the main act, Paducah Cheerleader, a powerful memoir about interracial dating in rural Kentucky. Audiences can return to hear new stories throughout the festival and even take part by submitting anonymous secrets, which are read aloud by JUICE the Trauma Clown to help build connection and understanding.
