Plain Language Description

Afeni Shakur, a Black woman in New York, joins the Black Panthers and is put on trial by the US government. She becomes her own lawyer to speak for herself. Her strength helps win the case for the Panther 21. During the trial, she decides to name her unborn son Tupac Shakur.
