Auria City
SOUND OFF: A Deaf Theatre Festival
In Auria City by Tamyka Bullen, a struggling bee community faces ecological and economic collapse as pollen and nectar disappear from their world. Through the eyes of Cassie and her Uncle Ben, the play explores climate crisis, Deaf identity, displacement, and the fight for dignity in a society built on fragile resources. Blending allegory and activism, this is a timely story about survival, community, and what it means to protect the Earth.
