Jesse and the Bookkeepers by Emma Spires
Step into a world where stories come alive.
Jesse and the Bookkeepers by Emma Spires follows Jesse, a shy and lonely child who finds comfort in the Lunar Library. When the library and the world are put in danger, Jesse is drawn into a journey through different stories and time periods with the help of Luna, a mysterious princess librarian, and the magical Bookkeepers. As they all work to stop Selene and her sidekick Smudge from rewriting history, Jesse grows in confidence and independence. By the end of the play, Jesse learns that she no longer needs to hide in books and is ready to connect with the real world.
Filled with imagination, humour, and heart, this student led production celebrates the importance of storytelling and finding your place in the world.
