The Elizabeth Sterling Haynes Awards will host the 2025/2026 awards celebration on Monday, July 20th at the Westbury Theatre inside the Fringe Theatre Arts Barns.

Doors open at 5:30pm with cocktails and snacks available, with the official ceremony commencing at 6:30pm. Following the ceremony, guests are invited to move the party down to The Next Act for the After Party, who have generously agreed to stay open later to accommodate anyone that wishes to celebrate into the evening.

Dress to impress; sustainability wins! Be it a previous opening night ensemble, a thrifted treasure trove, or anywhere in between, aim to look good without breaking the bank!

Now in its 39th year, the Sterling Awards honour excellence in the Edmonton theatre community. Awards are adjudicated by a peer jury who attend performances across the city throughout each season, and a series of prestigious legacy awards are presented for outstanding achievements in areas of theatre production. The Sterling Awards are named after the late Elizabeth Sterling Haynes (1897-1957), a titan and activist of Alberta theatre.
