The creator of A Closet Diva’s Diary returns with a new musical revue about second chances, aging out of ingenue roles, and finding your way back to the spotlight. And seriously... WTF is an ingenue anyway?
I Ain’t No Ingenue is about why we have dreams, how they change, and what happens when life does not go the way we planned. Through music and storytelling, the show follows Christie's journey. It explores the future she wanted, the dream she thought she had lost, and the dream she learns is still possible. Christie finds that a different life can still be meaningful, joyful, and beautiful.
