No Die! - Or: How I Left Amsterdam and Almost Died in Africa

After performing in over 50 countries, Dutch stand-up comedian Fedor Ikelaar returns to Edmonton Fringe with No Die!—a fast-paced, darkly funny solo show blending stand-up and storytelling.

What starts as a naive trip to Sierra Leone quickly spirals into chaos: motorbike madness, a car crash, a police misunderstanding that nearly turns deadly—and a series of increasingly bad decisions. In a place where everything feels unpredictable, Fedor finds himself in situations that are as absurd as they are dangerous.

With sharp humor and vivid storytelling, he turns these real-life misadventures into big laughs, exploring what happens when confidence outpaces experience—and how far luck can really take you. The result is a story about risk, perspective, and somehow making it out the other side.

Having previously won over Edmonton audiences, Fedor returns with a show that’s tighter, sharper, and funnier than ever. His smart, globally informed comedy cuts across cultures, finding connection in the chaos and humor in the unexpected.

“Worldly, sharp, and endlessly funny—Fedor spins insane stories from around the globe with impeccable timing.” ★★★★★ — AYTC Review
