The Late Great Mormon Drag Queen

The shy, 15th son of the polygamous Mormon prophet didn’t seem destined for the stage until he stepped out in a wig and a dress! Enter Madam Pattirini – The Late Great Mormon Drag Queen.
Based on the true story of Brigham Morris Young, featuring a "virtuoso solo performer" (Calgary Herald) and original vaudeville-style songs. How will this simple man and formidable diva find balance and acceptance?

"Delightful, fantastic,... meaningful & fun" – Audience review
From the creator and performer of the award-winning solo show "Drag Me to the Opera."

The Late Great Mormon Drag Queen is about a shy man in late 1800s Utah. He discovers a passion and talent for female impersonation, where he feels free in a way that he does not in other parts of his life. He begins performing, but must balance it with responsibilites to his family, church and job. He learns about the value of truth and finding purpose, which leads to self-acceptance.
