Punch Up
The most pathetic man ever kidnaps the funniest man alive to make the saddest girl in the world laugh
Punch Up parachutes the audience into the complicated breakup of one of the funniest comedy duos ever, as Pat tries to remain funny without his partner. Meanwhile, sad, lonely loser Duncan sees depressed and fed-up Brenda on the ledge of a building and makes her a bet: if he can make her laugh and happy, she won't jump off the building. The only problem is: he isn't funny. At all. Knowing Pat as the funniest person alive, Duncan kidnaps Pat to try and teach him to be funny to cheer Brenda up and hilarity and heart ensue.
