A New Original Jukebox Musical!

A new original, high energy, madcap jukebox musical where the supporting ensemble has to scramble to get their Tony Award Ceremony ready before the curtain rises! Will they find a headliner? Will the impending storm ruin it all? With a brand-new script by Martin Galba, the show will feature music from classics such as Wicked, Moulin Rouge, A Chorus Line and many more…

It is Sunday, June 2047. During this year’s theatre season there were no new musicals brought to the Broadway stage which gives the artistic community a chance to celebrate the amazing works already written. On the momentous day of the 100th Tony Award Ceremony, which will be televised live all over the world, a big storm hits New York City and shuts the whole city down. As the performing cast rehearses at Radio City Music Hall the Producer, Max, along with the Director, Harold, and Choreographer, Jeremy, all have to scramble and devise a plan before the cameras start to roll. With some tense relationships, others rediscovering love, and actors vying for center stage… careers are on the line! Will our Broadway Legend Glenn Desmond be able to save the day? Does Katherine, a star in the making, get her big break? Only the talents and passions of our dedicated musical theatre performers will rise to the challenge and live the theatre code of “the show must go on”!

Written/Directed and Choreographed by Martin Galba, who is the distinguished recipient of the Queen Elizabeth II Diamond Jubilee Medal. Originally from Slovakia, Martin’s career in the arts as an actor, singer, dancer, director, choreographer and producer has been steadily building since the early 2000s.

Music Direction by Brad Heintzman, who graduated with honors from the Royal Conservatory of Music, University of Toronto and Grant MacEwan University Music Program.
