Moonshine

Inspired by her travels back to Ukraine, a young woman explores the impact of digging up your roots over shots of hooch. Its a Ukrainian kitchen-party with a live-band, if a Ukrainian kitchen party was held in a fried chicken restaurant.. Pull up a chair, grab a tasty bite, and raise your glass in a celebration of life. BUD’MO!

Plain Language Description

MOONSHINE is an immersive show with live music, set in a real restaurant. Through stories and toasts, it explores identity, community, and Ukrainian heritage. Performed mainly in English with some Ukrainian, the audience is invited to raise a glass, but drinking is completely optional. "Bud’mo!" means “Cheers!” in Ukrainian.
